this has only happened twice, but heres whats going on. other day, cruise control was on, going down the highway at about 69mph and suddenly it starts slowing down as if i had suddenly just let my foot off the pedal, then a second later it went back to normal. then this morning, on the highway without cruise control, i was coasting a bit at like 55mph and because there was some road work ahead, and when i went to accelerate back up it did the same thing. i was pressing the pedal and it started coasting down and a second later worked again.

Sounds a little like mine, though mine is only in 1st gear... Some ideas anyway.
