all of a sudden my car is in launch control in every gear if the throttle is floored?

rpms are reading, mph are reading, so any ideas?

i messaged my tuner but wanted to see if i could find anything out on here .

no cel, if i give it half throttle it will let me go the whole rpm range past where launch control is set.


i didnt event want launch control, i guess i should have said something.

yes i have searched but have found nothing.



this just happened out of no where

edit: update, mph just stopped reading so must be vss im guessing. mph was reading fine but did another test drive and nothing so it must have a loose wire or something like that. I assume that is why launch control is staying on.

Yeah thanks, I wasn't sure what ectune was looking for, clutch tps etc. I believe 6-8 mph, I just bought a replacement sensor so when I install I will update so others know for sure. Weird though because I had mph readouts driving during problem.


update it was the vss sensor for anyone that searches someday for the same problem. it was intermittently failing thats why the mph still read but ecu didnt read it.

 

Yup, should be active below 6mph or so. It does not require a clutch input unless it was setup that way.
