Icon2 dpfi to mpfi problems

i am swapping a d16zc into my 1989 honda civic dx. i have the stock dx chasis harness and my standard 1.5 dx engine harness that was originally in it using plugs from a 1.6 harness. i did all the required steps for this conversion but somehow not getting spark. i have the pm6 ecu and have 4 wires running from there to the engine compartment. all the injectors are hot but the ground side on the injectors are not getting any fire. i am not sure if it could be thru the dizzy which wires do not match the diagrams i have found. so im not sure about what is going on. what could be my possible problems?

Which distributor are you using? Check to make sure you didn't confuse the 2 white wires on the distributor.

im using a TD02 distributor and i followed each wire out of the distributor and matched them up. but the distributor is not the same wire colors as diagrams found on the internet.

Well... look at something. There isn't much that can go wrong between the 3 parts... Does your coil have the spring? Is the rotor tab for the button flattened out? Does your cap have a button?

yeah everything is good. when i stuck a screwdriver in the ignition coil and the spark plug wire to the screwdriver and grounded out the plug on the engine block it sparked one time. i thought it was supposed to repeatedly fire?

How did you do this? It's a strange picture in my head... please correct me if I'm wrong.
Sounds like you took the distributor cap off and hooked a screwdriver directly to the coil somehow.
Then you attached a plug wire to the screwdriver as well.
And finally the other end of the plug wire has a spark plug in it that you grounded to the block.

Do you have an ohm meter? I am curious what your coil reads now after that spark.

I had the same problem and I switched the wires at the distributor plug that goes into the main harness. The wires I swaped were the white crank sensor wire next to the empty slot and the white and blue tdc wire directly below it. If you search for si distributor connector you can find a diagram. I just dont remember where I found the diagram.
