i have a rattle coming from my roof around the dome light and hanger hook. its annoying. does anyone else have this problem? i have a sunroof as well

 

Nope. Take it down and locate the rattling.

 

I have the same rattle. As far as I can tell it's something in the moonroof. The rattle changes when I open the moonroof shade iirc. Been awhile sine I drove the Civic and listened for it.

The rattling may be originating from one of your sunroof components. On my '00 Si I have a very irksome rattle that is coming from the sunroof cap. (for those who don't know what the heck this part is or where it's located, it is ref #3 in this Civic Si roofliner diagram) I've been tinkering around with the idea of somehow tightening this component so as to attempt to squelch the sound..

 

okay! i fixed it. and unlike everyone else who doesnt explain how they fixed their problems on forums leaving readers confused, i will explain.. i took down the headliner from the rear, i could see into the sunroof itself through the back. and there was this bar thing, i moved it down with my 2 fingers, the rattle went away. i didnt even bend it at all. just tried moving it with 2 fingers and it went away.

i guess when you have so much power in bass, you cant really do anything else about the rattles.
