Sir-G or GSR??

Default Sir-G or GSR??

okay me and my buddy need are in a little friendly argument and here is the topic i have a JDM B18C engine, now to my knowledge this engine is the one found in the japanese integra Sir-G, he say's it's the GSR...but the GSR is the usdm engine stamped with the B18C1 engine code, can someone with alot more technical knowledge prove me wrong

B18C could either be the SiR-G, or a Type-R.

Japan never had a GSR. Ever.

The engines are very similar, I would say the SiR-G has slightly high compression (somewhere around .2), more agressive ignition timing and is mapped from the factory for Japan's higher octane pump fuel......

Yes. No such thing as a GS-R in Japan.

From '94-'95 there was also the Integra Si VTEC that had the B18C. That one is forgotten often.

that's what i've been telling him, but i also know that the JDM B18C comes with slighty moore hp than it's u.s. counterpart
