Default Can my B18c1 Make LS/Vtec Power?

I’m looking for LS/Vtec power out of my B18c1(4dr.GSR) without boring the block or forced induction. I’m planning to raise my compression up to around 11.5 – 12.0 and add a type-r head w/ Skunk2 stage 2 cams. What more will I need to do to get my 4dr. to run with LS/Vtec coupes? I feel I need to be around the 200hp w/130 - 140ft lbs of torque to the ground to compensate for my extra weight. PLEASE HELP.

Better yet get another GSR block and resleeve it to be safe.

You're on the right track. Boost the compression, install the cams with required springs and retainers. If you don't have cam gears get them. I'd also look into Hondata. Then tune everything on a dyno. You should get to 200 whp when you're all done.

if you want 11.5 - 12.0 compression ratio. Get some b16a2 pistons. An guess what? I got them! I'l up your compression to about 11.4 Which you c an still run on 92 octane. If your interested in the pistons. email me at Phat_flava@hotmail.com

let me try to help you out. i would do:
*bore B18c1 to 84.5mm
*get some good pistons (JE. IB, eyden rollerwaves) ect 11:8.1 to 12:5.1
*get some cams that will make power all the way to, say...9k -9.5k
*A MUST get a strong valvetrain(skunk, Jun, Toda,)
* get 1mm over sixed valves
* ported head
*eagal rods.
*hondata
-if you want to, MSD ingnition.

With a setup simalar to this you should be able to reach 210-220hp
it all comes down to the $$$$
