Default Misfire after head and valve job

98 civic with a d16y8. Misfire in #3. CEL is blinking and code P0303. This never occured before the valve and head job which were for a blown head gasket. Any ideas..? I have spark, but not sure if i have fuel or air.

Also, new valve seals and valve adjustment.

Got new plugs and wires. Cap and rotor seem fine, but i don't want to buy a new set if it's something else. Like I said, I have spark.

Did you install the cap rotor and wires?

could be as simple as a bad wire.

new plugs are installed. i thought it was a wire because the #3 plug felt like it wasn't "clicking" in, but still have the same problem with the new wires. I haven't changed the cap, nor the rotor. I'm wondering why it would misfire after this and never once before. I didn't want to just buy new parts. I'm trying for a budget. I'm just a student. Could it be a bad O2 sensor or a bent valve?

did you dubble check the valve clearance... if the valve is too tight it will missfire and if it is real loose it is a sign that the valve may be bent ..

Damn I don't want to pull the head again but it seems like that's what I'm gonna end up doing.

For some reason it seems like the shops always leave a few too tight. And they surely don't "adjust" them with any type of accuracy (unless maybe they're shimmed).

My cousin is much more mechanically inclined than I am, especially on Hondas. Glad to have him in my corner. I usually try and do things myself, but I felt this was over my head.
