Default 96" Accord EX -- Both turn signals suddenly stop working?

Hi guys, new here and would love some insight!

I have a 96" honda accord EX vtec engine and I turned on my car one day and BOTH of my turn signal lights did not turn on. They do not show up on the dash or in the lights in the front of the car, but when i flip the turn signal and turn the wheel I hear the clicking.

But, the hazards work fine -- both turn signal lights on the dash light up when the hazards is on and all 4 blinkers work fine. So I ruled out any lighting problems. I checked a couple fuses underneath the hood and inside the car and they look fine. There is a "lighting" relay (square block) on both the inside circuit panel and the outside circuit panel, not sure if those relays have anything to do with anything but I assume not because the turn signals and hazards and part of the same circuit (i think)

Last year I broke off the handle to my turn signal switch, so I had to replace the whole turn signal assembly with a new one. So this is where i am at now, im not sure if it would be something bad with the recent turn signal assembly or maybe something else? If you have any sort of ideas that could lead me in the right direction that would be great! I REALLY do not want to take it into a shop.

Thank you in advance!

I was thinking the signal/light assembly behind the steering wheel, there may be a problem with the contact, have you trying moving it around while left or right signal should be on to see if you get any response?

Thanks for the response. I have tried doing that and nothing unfortunately... I tried moving the connections that connect to the turn signal assembly itself and nothing... im out of ideas!

any other thoughts?

Are both sides not working with the turn signal switch?

Using the 95 wire diagram...I'd check the #12 7.5 amp fuse in the under dash fuse box.

My turn signals suddenly stopped working, too. I am currently attempting to trouble shoot this. the hazards don't even work & it doesn't make a sound either. My initial problem was a short in a speaker wire. While looking for that I removed unused audio wires & old phone & other seemingly unused wires. After realized I lost my directionals I replaced the wires to complete any circuit but still nothing. There has been a lot of extra wiring installed in this car. An old style phone, pre-bluetooth mic, an alarm system. The only positive is I found out that by flicking either my lights or my power seats I can make the speakers work. I think my best course of action would be simply rewiring the turnsignals. Any diagrams & or directions for that project may be helpful to parties of interest here and maybe someone here may have that information available for sharing???

Sounds like the time to get your hands on a factory service manual and a good volt meter and start going to town.

If this turns out to be a "flasher" issue, I'll admit it will be one of the first - if not "the" first flasher issue on a 5th gen I've seen.

If I was the OP - I'd back up and start testing at the hazard switch....but that is me and I know nothing.
