1992 Accord ABS No Pressure
Went through a lot of troubleshooting on this one.....reservoir is full. I can run the pump manually, but nothing out of the bleeder. I tried the hand pump pressurizing the reservoir to get the pump to pick up the fluid. No luck....tried swapping the accumulator from a working one off eBay...no luck. Tried cycling each solenoid manually and manually running the pump over and over again....no luck. The solenoids clicked...each one....pump runs....everything seems to work but still no pressure....any ideas (other than disconnecting the ABS light)?
Thanks,
Mike

Start from the begining ,man! What's the problem the car is having .Is it the hydraulic problem or electrical?ABS system has different codes. Why did you go straight to the pump?Manually the pump is working, but is the computer that have to control it.
Code thrown was hydraulic problem....nothing out of bleeder = no pressure...already checked the relay, fuse, etc. for code 1.....pump, if running electrically, usually is not the failure mode....bad check valve would pump up then bleed off...usually....since the solenoids click OK...don't think changing that will fix it, although I have a used one I could put in....
Bottom line is, individually, it looks like each component works but.....no pressure....

Actually, it's the bleeder at the modulator with the solenoids....this system is the old one where the pump and accumulator are under the battery and the modulator is up by the firewall. The shop manual says to bleed the modulator....there should be residual pressure at the bleeder at the modulator if the system is working properly...no pressure, then you get the motor over-run Code 1....I also checked all the lines for kinks. Perhaps I have two bad accumulators?

I threw the same code 1 on my '93, and the ABS light is on. Where did you get the diagnostic tree? I'll assume it came from the service manual, since my Haynes manual has zero info on the ABS system.
Is there a link anywhere to the service manual?
