How do take off the little orange reflectors?

How do take off the little orange reflectors?
I have a 2000 
civic and I want to put some blue signal lights. I dont want to pay $300 for the entire lamp. I tried removing all that silicone with a blowdryer and a blade but its taking too long and I'm affraid i might break the lens. Does anybody have some bright ideas on how I can quickly and cleanly remove those reflectors. Thanx
