Why not use an air to water intercooler? Might be more effective than the air to air mounted that way.

because im going to drive it alot so cant be bothered with the hassle. i thought air to water intercoolers were only for drag cars?
they are from a dc2 98. i have been a pain putting the intercooler there have to run things in different places because they get in the way

The intercooler being mounted that way basically negates even having one after it gets heat soaked from radiant heat... Basically mounting the AIR to AIR intercooler there you have defeated the purpose of one. You could have still gotten the sleeper look and still have had functioning equipment. Why would a water intercooler be stricly for race? All you need is a tank and a circulating pump; most people don't do them because of the added weight/equipment, added cost, and a FMIC works fine.

How do you have your coil over plugs set up? Looks pretty sweet!
