Heavy steering feel in my 01' DC2R
Is this normal for the DC2R? Driving in carparks, it takes a bit of effort to turn the wheel, but at road speed it feels fine. PS fluid is at the correct level and there are no squeels or squeaks coming from any belts in the engine bay.
Is this the same for other owners with ITRs? Maybe Honda did this to add more 'rawness' to the car?
Tyres are also at 38 psi all round and are on 16" wheels and i have Tein Flex suspension if that is of any relevance. Car has 75,000 km (~47 000 miles) on it aswell. Are there fuses i can check?
Help greatly appreciated

What makes you think you blew a fuse? Maybe the PS fluid needs to be flushed and refilled..have you tried that?
Maybe something is wrong with the power steering rack, might needs to be replaced..?

I don't think it's the "rawness" to which you're referring. From what I recall, it felt just about the same as my other FWD Hondas. Also, typically variable steering assist works in such a way to provide a higher level of assist at low vehicle speed (parking lots) and more at highway speeds (for the feel). It sounds like there's a mechanical issue making it more difficult, unless you're being overly sensitive.
Did you just get this car? Do you suffer from muscular distrophy or are you a woman?

No i am very much a man with no disability of such a thing. I am just comparing to my EG civic, and that seems lighter than the R..
