I need help with a 1990 civic
I replaced the engine, car started and runs for 45sec. to a min. and a half ok, then startes balking down and backfiring through the fuel injection system, will not accelerate. Timing checkes OK. Has normal fuel pressure.

Check the tune up! And also make sure the wires aren't crossed.
