Default p72 q31 transistor burnt i need different answers

so i understand that this usually occurs from confusing IAT and Evap sensor possibly iacv but...

i had this car running perfect w/ turbo kit on a stock p28 but then i plugged in the demon board p72 with neptune q31 transistor burnt up no others.

it was a used unit so do you think i just got ripped?
or
can a p28 run with reversed sensors and not burn up?

The issue is with you having the plugs mixed up.
Your IAT sensor is likely cooked also.

A STOCK p28 can sometimes run with the sensors reversed and it doesn't burn up.
Simply cut the component out of the ecu at q31 and the ecu should function fine.

well that was exactly it iat and evap were mixed. (confused me as to why a p28 would work) but im getting another iat sensor and should be good to go with no evap now until i have a new q31 soldered on

can any one confirm iat, iavc, and evap sensor wire colors

The original purchaser can contact us & we can usually lookup that information for them.
