Crome 1.6.2 BUG????????
What's up Fellas,
I finally found some time to play around with crome.
Car is obd2 d16y5 w/conversion harness to obd1. The HX has primary and secondary o2 sensor with primary 5wires and secondary 4wires. I bypass the primary and jump right into (D14) secondary to use the 4wires with obd1 ecu.
Ecu's I'm using are P30 and P06 converted/vtec both Ecu's are fine except when I connect to crome and load via ostrich I will get a check engine light.
Not normal check engine light: It will be solid for awhile and it will blink once and solid again for awhile. I'm thinking o2 sensor but why would it not throw a code when I'm not connected to crome.
Also when I try to pull up datallog it will pull as DLF not PDF. This is my first time pulling around with this so any of you fellas input are greatly appreciated.
I went to OPTIONS on crome and disable o2 sensor both (open loop) and disable heater sensor.
Edit: BUGS I FOUND.

IT WON'T LET ME SAVE CHANGES, FOR EXAMPLE FROM 240CC TO 450CC IT WON'T SAVE CHANGES, AGAIN WTF.
I AM NOT TO FAMILIAR WITH DATALLOGS, WHEN I SAVE THEM IT WILL BE IN DLF. WHERE DOES CROME FILE THE DATALLOGS? I'M USE TO TURBOEDIT IS THE ONLY TUNING SOFTWARE I'VE USE FOR A LONG TIME AND IT SAVES DATALLOGS IN EXEL. AGAIN, WHERE DOES THE FILE SAVE TO IN CROME?

Yeah, the more I think about it - check your port speed and other port options. That's probably why it reads wrong and won't write.
Also, you mentioned that you are wired into the 2nd O2 sensor? Do you have a cat? You don't want to use an O2 sensor that is after a catalytic converter because all the readings will be wrong.

Update for those who might need this one day.
found out that j12 was not desoldered in the ecu. After I desoldered it all the values are logging correctly now.
PROBLEM: I can't figure out why the check engine light is ON, under crome live data "CEL" the code is o2 sensor heater circuit. BUT, only while in crome.
I cant figure out the datallog file is in DLF?
CHECKSUM BEEN DISABLE so is not in crome. I still got to figure this out.
