Auto to Manual swap help!

Auto to Manual swap help!
Hey everyone, need some help!
Purchased a DC that had a auto to manual swap already completed. Pulled the engine (to build) and started a tuck at the same time. No wires were cut or shortened, just rerouted. Now, when I put the key in, I can't get it out. I tried jumpering the two thick black wires on the auto gear shift harness with no luck. Key comes out fine when battery is disconnected. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!!
