Ok... so have a 95 civic 4dr. Speedo is not working.. had original d15b7 in car didnt work, now swapped b18c in still not working. neither is my vtec. Will not engage at all... need help. saw on other postings that u need VSS for vtec. Have changed VSS, tried gauges, have power to gauges, still no speedometer.. odometer not working either... any solutions??? So... need help with Speedo to solve vtec problem any input?? thanks..

 

you should check the harness for continuity with a multimeter thats the problem.

 

its your wire from your distributor it should be a green one.... the plug that goes into it.

ok so checked wiring.. have continuity from VSS to the connector by the clutch cylinder. After that i dont.... so must be the wiring from connector to cluster... the color is yellow with a blue strip b4 connector and at cluster am i correct? thanks..

 

how? did u just run a wire from VSS to cluster?

 

Very simple, just find a wire diagram ( there should be thousands now days on the web) and run the wires your self.

 

yeah found them.. i know the wiring colors into cluster, vss and connector.. i will try it and see
