Default GSR rear sway bar needs EM1 brackets... but which bushings?

I understand that I need the brackets and end links from an EM1 to fit a GSR sway bar onto my 2000 LX. But will the bushings and bushing straps (the C shaped piece of metal which holds the bar onto the brackets) from the GSR fit? Or do I need those pieces from an EM1 and, if so, will those pieces-meant for a 13mm bar-fit the GSR's 14mm bar?

I've searched, and this is the best I've come up with:

https://honda-tech.com/forums/suspension-brakes-54/gsr-sway-bar-99-civic-searched-1905237/

But it doesn't make sense that those bushes meant for a 13mm bar would fit around a 14mm bar... can anyone help me figure this out? I know all the parts to buy, except for the bushing. Thanks.

I just used some energy suspension ones but the Integra ones will work fine

Wouldn't they have a hard time fitting into the EM1 brackets if they're of a different shape? I'm guessing that an additional 1mm of thickness doesn't preclude use of the Civic Si bushings and I'm leaning toward ordering those. Does that strike anyone as a bad idea?

The d shaped strap is the same size for both the si and gsr brackets. The bushing itself actually has the same outer dimensions, the hole for the bar is the only difference between bushings. If it helps i just did this to my car, just get the brackets and a good set of end links and you should be good to go.

If you don't have the swaybar already, I'd suggest an ITR swaybar. 22/23mm instead of 13mm I believe. But yeah, Energy Suspension sells the bushings and brackets, probably cheaper than buying new OEM ones.

I run ES sway bar bushings on my SI sway bars, and had no issues with them..

I bought them due the fact they cost less then OEM and I was broke at the time. lol

You can use the SI or the DC "D" bracket, and then use the bushing for the GSR bar.

I would like to do that because it'd cure the understeer at low speeds, where it's most noticeable, but since I don't have money right now for excellent shocks/springs and upsized lightweight wheels with good tires, and because the tendency to understeer lessens at high speeds, I can't balance the car with a thick rear sway bar until I resolve other limiting factors relating to grip. I don't feel like killing myself.

But I almost ordered the ASR brace + 22 mm sway bar kit until I took a few offramps at high speed.

Every other forum says they're different sizes and that you need spacers to make the larger DC bracket fit on the Civic. So i can't see why the bushing's external dimensions wouldn't be correspondingly larger to fit in a larger D bracket. Am I wrong?

It should be the same size bushing, the only ones that are different to the best of my knowledge are the end link ones
