time for a flywheel
Looking to buy a flywheel just don't know how light to go...the setup I'm running is a allmotor fullybuilt 85mmx95mm storker, alaniz ported head with toda d's cams its a track only car. I was told too light can be bad and also told the light the better so I'm kinda stuck I was looking at a 8.5lbs comp clutch flywheel so if anyone can shine a light on whats best for me That would be great thanks everyone
I would go as light as possible, but since your all motor, i wouldn't go lower than 8.5lb.... too little rotating mass may hurt you more over a 1/4 mile..... just my opinion/experience, hopefully the hardcore guys chime in

That might be true for boosted apps, that doesn't apply to stroked all motor setup though.. If this was a daily driven race car, i would say something of what you said, because going from a stop will be harder.. but this isn't the case.
I have an Exedy 11.5ish I believe and I love it. Not too light and definitely better than a stock LS! My experience with the sub 10lbs flywheels is much more difficult to find the sweet spot to slip the clutch on launch. All they want to do is rev and seem to take something away from the driving the car IMO.
