from what i remember there are only a couple of sensors that can be swapped out and your block will be OBD1.
get the obd1 ecu jumper, and then i believe you can get the obd2-obd1 stepdown harness for the engine harness.
either way you are going to have to modify your stock DPFI to MPFI, and run the necessary wires.

it doesnt matter what obd your motor is. swap your original engine harness onto your new motor and add the 4 wires for the mpfi conversion. 2 for the injectors and 2 for the distributor. dont forget to swap the wires on the TPS. extend the wires for the fan switch from the back of the block to the thermostat. after the wiring has been modified all you would need is the obd conversion from obd0 to obd1.
you wont be using the harness that came with the engine. dont throw it away though because you may need them for the injector clips and distributor plug and the fan switch and o2 sensor.
that is correct. most of the plugs will hook up to the new motor. there are a few that you will have to add such as 2 injectors, 2 wires for the distributor, 4 wires for the o2 sensor, and 1 plug for the fan switch.
the TPS is the throttle position sensor which is located behind the throttle body. you have to swap the wires on the 2 outer pins since you said your car is originally dpfi. the tps on the dpfi turns the opposite direction than the mpfi.
