hi i need help wiring up my ctr mirrors i extended all the wires i just need to run it threw the door for that oem look i put it threw the rubber hose comming from the fender to the door but doesn't seem to fit any one help?

Can you post a pic of how exactly you ran the wires through the door? I wired mine up really quickly a few months ago to make they worked, but never ran them through the doors.

Wiring schematics also depend on the color plug you have which goes into the back of the switch. Mine was a green plug btw.

If I can get some motivation on how the wiring is done, I might take the time this weekend to re-wire them. If so, I can help you with that. Otherwise, I am sure there are diagrams someone online. I remember finding wiring info somewhere on the net which helped me out big time.

 

you have to run the pins in the connector that plugs into the door.

 

I still don't know what that means. haha. I know my way around the car and I know where the connector and the wiring to the door is, but I just dont know how to get to that area and get the wires in there. Maybe I am thinking about this too hard.

 

the wire's run in the floor harness they go up behind the dash in the kickpanel then out into the rubbertube and then the connector plugs into the door if you unplug it from the door and slide back the rubber you will see where the pins go into the back of the connector never done folding mirrors so i can't tell you what pins to use. takeing the fender off can make geting at the harness somewhat easyer

you do. my buddy wired everything up for me and yes, I had to take off my fender for an easier job on it and looks cleaner. I wish I could help you but it took him at least almost a day to figure it out and all. I was too frustrated with what he was doing. lol

i don't know how we can help anymore i told you what to do maybe you should just pay somebody or drill a hole and run them thourgh a grommet
