Default Roll bar rear mount location, tips

I'm going to install a S&W weld in 8 point roll bar in my 91 CRX. First off, I was thinking of installing the rear struts either straight to the wheel wells and bolt them on (go through speaker cover), or go down to the floor right next to the strut tower. Is there any advantage to either way or are both equally acceptable?

Also, I wanted to paint the cage the same color as the outside of my car, so that would involve putting it in and fitting it and weld a few pieces, pull it out, paint, put it back in and weld it all up. When I paint it I would leave the ends that are going to be welded bare metal, weld it and then just paint brush some paint on the weld. My question is what is the easiest way to weld some parts together (like the seat bar, main hoop x bars, and maybe rear struts?) but still be able to get it out and paint it? Is it just too hard to try to do all of this and maybe I should just weld it all in place and spray paint it?

Weld it in place and spray it. It'll involve a lot of masking, but it will look 100 times better than the other way you thought about doing it.

^ Like he said, put it in and spray it then. It does involve a lot of masking and time, but that's the best way to do it.

Or you can do a lot less masking by simply painting it with a brush (that's how I did mine). It won't look as nice, and if that bothers you then don't do it that way. My harness bar is all chipped now because my seatbelts bang into them when I take them off, glad I just use a paint brush lol.

Okay, that sounds good. Guess I will just load up on some masking supplies

A roll or two of blue painters tape and a freshly stocked newspaper machine...
