Default 94 civic ex wont crank - Replaced Main relay, still nothing

I have a 1994 Civic EX and the car just had an engine swap to d15b, everything was running perfect for about a month now. The other day I was on my way to my car from break at work, and it wouldn't start up. I push started it home, and came to the forums to see whats up, I got advice to change the main relay, So I did, but nothing changed. Car still doesnt crank.

I read somewhere that if you loosen the top of the fuel filter, and turn the key to position 2, that if the fuel pump is working correctly, it will spew gas for 3 seconds. And my car doesnt. It leaks a little bit, but nothing like the video/pictures showed should be coming out.

What are my next steps to getting this car up and running? As I mention this car had 0 problems and now all of a suden it just didnt start.

You were given bad advice. The main relay has nothing to do with the starter. Check the rubber stopper at the top of the clutch pedal. It may have fallen out or is broken.

Okay I tried my best to see under the dash, and I was looking up into the clutch. Now Im not sure if this is the correct thing to be looking at, but from what I am looking at this is what I came up with:

When i press the clutch in with my hand, the little nipple thing on "clutch pedal switch a" goes into a little hole. Now It looks like maybe a little thing might be missing, which would press that little nipple thing. On clutch pedal switch b, it isnt there either, so Im not 100% sure if im looking at the correct thing.

That's your problem. Buy a new rubber stopper or hot glue a coin over the hole.

Switch A is for the starter and switch B is for cruise control. This absence of a rubber stopper for switch B means the cruise control (if you still have it) also doesn't work.

Okay so I've had the exact same issue and finally figured out what the diagram was displaying. Of course after replacing the clutch saftey switch. Part b in the diagram. Now my real question is after breaking my back to see part be I think the rubber stopper is missing. That being said how in the world did you get a penny there? Mine is completely blocked off by the copper bracket holding everything in place. I dont have any idea how Id get anything up there. 94 honda civic ex.

See thread here:https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-civic-del-sol-1992-2000-1/tiny-piece-rubber-makes-your-car-not-start-2961138/

Edit: see this thread as well, it seems you can do it from inside the car http://www.hondacivicwagon.com/bb/vi...hp?f=7&t=11580
