2000 civic wiring pic under dash question?

Default 2000 civic wiring pic under dash question?

I bought this car off a guy on here and the wiring in this car is a hack job. So im trying to figure out what this plug is for and why are there wires looped to it?

Give more details about the car. Any mods? Auto transmission? Where do the wires from the connector run?

it looks like it would go to the climate control unit.. just a guess though. No idea why there are wires looped to it. People connect to crazy things to find the right power for different devices?

Its a 2000 civic cx hatchback. it has a 5 speed b16a obd1 engine swap with a hack wiring harness. I'm in the mist of trying to swap out with a ex harness. also it has a DVD double din radio above this plug. it was converted to power windows and locks but i doubt it was done the right way. The harness plug looks like it running under the carpet on the floor. I don't really know where it goes. that's what im trying to figure out.

No where. there all looped at the end of the plug.

Post a picture that shows all the wires (how many?) on the non-looped side of the connector and disconnect it and post a picture of the connector's face.
