Default 1992 civic, common ac problems?

Ok, I searched around the forum and didn't find anything. my ac doesn't work. theres no belt and theres no pressure in the system. what are some common problems with 92 civic ac systems? im sure i have a leak somewhere but i'd like to know what to expect with this project. thanks in advance.

I'm sure having no belt would be considered crucial to the fact that the A/C does not work. How do you know you have a leak if it isn't running?

Start here ---> Does the compressor clutch and pulley spin freely or are they seized? If the compressor seems fine, add some refrigerant containing a leak-detecting dye. Where the dye appears is where there is a leak. Repair the leaking component and replace the receiver dryer. Then take the car to a shop for evacuation, leak testing, recharging with the refrigerant and oil.
