Okay. So I'm new (obviously) but I'd like to fix the issues I'm having myself. Plus I think the shop messed it up on purpose so they could squeeze $800 out of me.

Anyways. Here's what's going on...
1) Sometimes when driving you can here the AC belts squeal. Only when the AC is on so it has to be them
2) When the car is stopped (and probably also when the car is running) you can feel it kind of rev and definitely here it. Looking under the hood you can see the belt slow (maybe even stop) and then return to normal speed. Also only does this when the air is on
3) This would probably be fixed with the others, but the AC isn't blowing nearly as cool as it was a little bit ago

I couldn't find any information online. And I'm getting desperate. Living in Florida with the AC off is no fun. Thanks for any help received.

it's either overcharged causing the compressor to seize up or the compressor / clutch is faulty.

Not much to an a/c system really.

1: Ensure the correct charge of refrigerant is installed with the correct oil.
2: Inspect the belt and tension.
3: If the belt is tight, use a stethoscope to determine the source of the noise. Usually the idler/adjustment pulley bearing, sometimes the pump bearing itself.

Any performance problems must be put to the side until the above three conditions are corrected as required. I have an in depth post about all things A/C, just search for it.

Thanks for the replies! I've been thinking it was the belt, clutch, or the whole compressor itself. I'll look into your suggestions for sure!
