woke up this morning, tried to start it up and it just kept cranking....when you turn on the ignition the CEL doesnt even come on...not sure what it was...i was already late for work so i just left it...ill have to go grab my obd2 reader and hopefuly it pulls somthing up...any ideas on what it could be..i hear the fuel and it cranks...just doesnt turn over..

 

so fuel, but no spark. start from there.

 

So I just got home, turned it on and didn't hear the fuel pumping and the cel still didnt come on...so I opend the gas cap to try n listen to the pump while the ignition was turned to the "on" position and the cel came on and then it started right up...oh and after I opened up the gas cap I heard the fuel flowing...would this be my fuel pump, injectors, or fuel filter?...the cars been having a pretty weak start up too..

 

stumped me on that one bud. sorry.

 

Does it idle fine with the cap on? What happens if you reinstall the cap and drive?
Have the car running and remove the cap. Did you hear a suction type noise?
