Default Fuel Injectors

I am getting a code 16 on my ecu. So before I spend the money on new ones I was wondering if there were any other suggestions. My car is a 1990 STD with DPFI. Thanks for the help.

you either have a bad injector or a break in the circuit. more than likely a bad injector.

Does it only code once in a while, or all the time? Does the engine run like normal? If it does, I would suspect the main relay since it provides power to the injectors. Other things to check would be the wiring from the main relay, to the resistors (if you've got them), to the injectors, and to the ECU. You could also check the injector coils for continuity with an ohm meter.
