I am getting a CEL code 16>>Fuel Injector Circuit. How do I test if Fuel Injectors are working or not?? What else should I check if they are working fine?? Thanks.

 

With an ohm meter you can check the resistance of the coils. Should be about 1 or 1.5 ohms. You can also use a piece of solid material like a screw driver or wooden dowel and place it against each injector. Put the other end to your ear and listen for the injector ticks. If one is silent, that's your bad one. However, the engine would probably be running like crap. The ECU will set a code 16 if there is a break in the electrical circuit for the injectors. This might be a bad injector coil, injector resistors, wiring, or most likely an intermittent main relay.

 

take a test light and connect it the the negtive on battery and then stick it into the colored wire on the injectors. red brown black blue and theyll pulse . if there pulsing then your good to go.
