Default 98 Ek Coupe D16Y7 spitting & sputtering? Opert. Temp no heat!? :((

Hmm.. soo i have a Iac code that keeps appearing. It idle surges and what not at operating temp unless i have the AC on. Car will not blow out warm air? I feel that it is not a coolant temp sensor because the cause reaches operating temp just fine and stays there.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Check whether the heater valve near the firewall in the engine bay moves when you move the dash heat lever back and forth. If it doesn't move, then manually open the valve. Then bleed the cooling system.

If you reset the ECU to clear the IACV code, does it return? If so, what is the specific CEL code (OBD2 code retrieved with code reader).
