Hello every one this is my first post but I have bean on Honda tech numerous times before to gather info on mods for my car

This is my problem I have a increase of pressure in my coolant system and I have white smoke that comes out of my tail pipe

Info on the car itself it is a dx 95 civic with a auto to manual conversion and a d15b7 block with a d16z6 head the block got a honing and new rings and bearings on both the crank and the rod I have so far put about 3 new head gaskets on in temp to fix the problem all times using new head studs and new gaskets and all the gaskets were mls ones the last gasket worked for all of about a week and ended up the same way the block was taken to the machien shop and so was the head to make sure nothing was worped if any one has an idea on what is going on it would b much appreciated to hear thank you

 

not sure if you actually stated above if you had the head RESURFACED

you can put head gaskets on it constantly, but if your putting the same warped *** head on all those new head gaskets...im sorry to say but your going nowhere lol

 

Yeah, white smoke pretty much always indicates burning coolant. I'm not sure what else it could be but a head gasket or a cracked cylinder.

 

It is more than likley the head causing it I'm going to get it resurfaced and c what happens thank you

 

Check ur hoses make sure it's in rite place other than that resurface whts necessary. Always make sure the head is torque down to specs

 

All that work done as stated and no compression test??? if so results...

 

 

Ok I got the head resurfaced put a new gasket in torched it to spec and the compression test came out good accos the board thank you for all of your help

 

This might a stupid question but are your sure it is steam and not oil burning? I have always herd the oil burning as "blue" smoke but it can easily look white and burning very little oil can look even more like steam. I had valve seals go out and my car started to burn a very small amount of oil and look a lot like steam

 

You can always give it a quick sniff to tell.

 

i'm experiencing problems with my 94 civic B16a swap. Today my friend and i raced and he said he saw a puff of white smoke when i took off. My car also smells like gas sometimes and my fuel mileage sucks. Id love any advice on what the problem may be.
