Okay I have a '97 boosted gs-r and I have a blown head gasket stock for all i know. I got to looking some have different thinkness, what does it do? and should i get a think or thing one. Also though looking for some i came across a Block Gurad, they say its for strength? is this true and are they worth the money to buy cause they say to you them on boosted cars. thanks for the help, let me know if you need to know anything else!

 

Thiner HG will raise compression.
Thicker HG will lower compression.

Don't waste your time or money on a block guard. It's not worth it one bit.
I would need to see solid real world proff to ever believe thouse things doing anything.
