start with a full tune up..

Rotor
Cap
Plug Wires
Plugs
Fuel Filter
New Oil
Seafoam or BG44K
make sure your brakes are not dragging
and tire pressure
also check if your gas cap is holding pressure

Oxygen sensors and check fuel rail pressure first.

Or, you could tell us what fuel pressure you're at. What if there is a regulator that he doesn't know of that the previous owner jacked up? Why would you buy a fpg if you weren't going to mess with the fuel pressure?

If you want help, then provide detailed information.

-Tell us exactly what you did for a tune up.

-Your engine must have an FPR. If it doesn't, that one major problem.

-Calculate your miles per gallon (mpg) for several tanks of gas. Otherwise, we have no idea whether your mpg is really bad.

You have an FPR. Whether that be stock or aftermarket.

Spark plug wires and ignition timing are missing and should be done.

Any CEL codes?
