TRANNY PROBLEMS PLEASE HELP!!!
hello everyone i was having some problems removing my tranny to replace the clutch. i have removed all bolts, the starter and some motor mounts to free the tranny, but for some reason the tranny still remains stuck to the engine. can you guys give me tips????? by the way its a 92 civic hatch d16. thanx
Either you missed a bolt (there's one on the backside that goes in the opposite way as the rest) or the dowel pins are stuck, carefully tap a bit on the front where the engine and transmission meet and see if it starts to separate then pry carefully with a large screwdriver or prybar.
hey everyone i am still going through some issues with this tranny. the clutch pedal gets stuck in the bottom. i replaced the master cylinder, the slave cylinder and nothing. one thing i did notice is that the clutch fork is really lose and it wont push back the slave cylinder when the clutch is released. do you guys know wat could of gone wrong???

It's possible you didn't get the clutch fork seated properly on the ball it piviots on (be sure to grease this pivot point with some hi-temp grease as well) or may not have gotten the release/throwout bearing under the release fork properly. The pics don't really tell us anything unfortunately, speaking of which I edited your post so the pics display.
i didint replace the hose because all of that is working properly... the problem that im having is that the clutch fork wont push back the pin in the slave cylinder. thats why my pedal gets stuck. thanx for the help 94eg8! is there anything esl i should take a picture so it can make it easyer to identify???
