i just installed a b16 into my civic and it started right up. i started it about 5 times but never got a chance to drive it. today i was going to drive it but it started for a second and died. i checked all grounds and they were fine. had a spare relay and still no go. i hear it click too. when i spary starting fluid it stays running. i hear the pump priming also. i cant try a different computer because the car is on e 85.
this is the only thing i could find and i dont know where it goes. it runes with the fuel line to the fuel filter. however i dont know if this would cause my problem.

 

Have you checked the timing? Is the car getting spark? It kind of sounds like it's not getting fuel.

When I have my fuel pump cutoff on, the car will start with whatever is in the system, and then shut off. After that it will just crank and crank but not start.

 

Turned out to be a bad connector at the tps.

i have the same problem replaced the throttle position sensor my car dies if i gas it too hard =P bvut if i gas slowly it works like super slow

 

You replaced it. But did you calibrate it? You didn't say.
