B18C Not wanting to stay running.
Ok well I finished the Type R swap, I started it this morning for the first time. I let it sit for a while and it idles fine and everything. I cut it off, then later tonight I got a good amount of antifreeze and filled my radiator all the way up. I started it let it warm up and it would rev up fine. Then I cut it off again and waited a few hours then started it again. The idle was incredibly low, it would shake my car. Then just cut itself off and it would do that everytime I tried to start it. Could it be a vacuum lines? or dirty injectors? I wired OBD2 dizzy, injectors, and alternator to the obd1 harness. It ran fine that one time and then all of the sudden it doesn't want to.
Its a chipped P28 ECU, It was running a 2nd Gen jdm b16. And the CEL is on, I have not checked them since I got it to start this morning. I will do that tonight, and get the codes. I ordered a b18c type r basemap for the p28 this weekend so itll be middle of next week before I get it.
Ok I went and checked and I checked a few times, the CEL is 4,3,6. Which is the Water temperature sensor, Crank Position Sensor, and MAP Sensor. I have no clue why the sensor is on for the water temp sensor, when it was running the radiator fans turned on and the temperature sensor in dash worked just fine. The crank sensor, could that be why? And could it have been caused by a loose wire when I converted the obd1 plugs to obd2? Also when it starts if I press on the gas it hesitates but then revs up, when I let off the gas it drops back down and usually stalls.

I fixed the water temperature sensor cel, I pulled out the wiring harness, and resoldered some of the connections. And when I plugged it back in, i noticed I should have used the plug from the firewall for the MAP sensor. So that fixed that, and I'm not getting a cel from the water temperature sensor anymore. I still get one from the CKP but it runs fine now.
