only thing i would use off that harness is the o2 plug unless your getting obd2 dist and injectors to use.

with the z6 being obd1, a obd2 wire harness wont help much unless getting the parts i said above. only injectors, dist, o2 plug wont work on the new obd1 manifold.

when doing the dpfi-mpfi on my old car, i used the stock dist plug, both sides, to create a plug for the wires going to the ecu so you could take out the motor with the engine harness

Ok thank. So probably would just be easier to just get a 88-91 SI or EX harness?

again just for parts. if i remember correctly you cant just swap in a si engine harness into a dx

but then again the z6 injectors are obd1 and dist is either obd1 or 2 depending which dist your gonna run. but its easier just to mod the stock harness

theres a whole bunch of combos u can run. so harness you can steal plugs from depends what components are used.

obd0 injec, obd1,or obd2, same as obd1 just different plugs dist
obd1 inject, obd 1,2 dist
obd2 inject, obd 1,2 dist

I'm not sure what dizzy I am going to use either z6 or a6 just need to find one. So I should get obd-1 plugs for the dizzy and injectors and solder them onto my harness.

u need a obd1 or 2 dist for obd1 conversion

if u already have the obd1 injectors, then yes i would just get the obd1 injector plugs
