I need some advice ht.... I have a daily that's a 97 civic hatch automatic.. car just keeps cranking and will not turn on... I check for spark and theres spark. I check the fuel system and I can hear the pump kick on and I cleaned the injectors now when I pulled the injectors still attatched to the fuel rail I told my friend to turn it on and quickly shut it off.. I held the injectors about a quarter of an inch above the mounting holes.. car started right up... It seems the car is getting to much fuel? So I put everything back together then it turn on for two trys after that just kept cranking anyone ever had this issue? Any help will be greatly appreciated

 

Also when the car decides to turn on it feels as if it were choking when I try to accelerate...

 

How did this problem start?

Have you checked the mechanical timing or compression tested the cylinders?

Any CEL codes?

 

Compression is good and timing is good.. I'm going to run it with the scanner today

 

What do you mean compression is good? What numbers did you get when you did the tests? Did you check both mechanical and ignition timing? Not doubting you but "is good" doesn't indicate much of anything.
