I have a 92 hatch. Just got it a month ago fron someone who "owns a shop." one problem im having is that my brake lights only work if my parking lights or headlights are on. What do you think the problem is and how do i fix? Thanks in advance.

are they aftermarket tail lights? maybe some bad wiring if so.

 

Nope they are stock lights

 

You may have the wrong type of brake light bulbs installed. They should be double filament bulbs.

 

Thanks ill check them out tomorrow. Hopefully thats the problem.

They were indeed doubles. Now i dont know what to do.
