My car does not speed up when i give it gass. HELP!
the problem:
okay so i have had this problem for about two weeks now. i first started to notice it after i went over some bumpy train tracks pretty hard. (dont know if that has anything to do with the problem) okay so when i am driving and it doesnt matter what gear i am in i give the car gass and the rpms go up smoothly just as they always would but the car just does not move. after the car just rumbles back and forth for a little and i start to backfire the car catches up with the rpms and goes. it is almost like i am double clutching.
what i have done:
i first changed my plugs because i though that might be what it was. as i was changing the plugs i noticed oil down and around my old plugs so then i went and bought all new valve cover gaskets and put the new plugs in and i got them all tight to the right specks. the car was still having the problem so i pulled the plug wires out and checked if there was still oil getting down there and there was not. so i drove a little more and the car was still haveing the same issue. so i decided to change my fuel filter today. i did all that and the new filter is in and there are no leaks and its in good. the car is still haveing the same problem. i checked and my oil looks good it is at the right level and my coolent is a clear green color it is not milkey at all so im pretty sure it is not my head gasket.
the car:
the car is a 1999 civic hatch with a jdm b16 sir II swap in it. not even a year ago i put a ACT extreme heavy duty presure plate in it with a 4 puck sprung clutch. i replaced the slave cyclender not even a month ago and the master cyclender when i put the cluth in. the motor is stock just an intake manifold intake and exhaust.
PLEASE TRY TO HELP ME FIND OUT WHAT IS WRONG WITH MY CAR!

check engine light = CEL ----> Does your CEL work?
Oil on the flywheel or disk could certainly cause some slippage, although I might also expect some clutch chatter.

yes my check engine light is working but there is nothing coming up and my clutch has been chatering for like the past 8 months or so. well ever since i put the new cluth in
i'm having almost the exact same problem.
also to note i was missing the drivers side axle seal and shot lots of trans fluid around there which could have gotten on the clutch. you think it would burn off though. would it cause that much of slipping?
