hey ht this is like the 3rd post of issues im having with my car things just keep happening out of no where...but this issue is thatt the cable going into the alt that gets held on by the nut is getting extremly hot and will spark with tiny movement and sometimes it gets to hot it will turn read.. i took my whole harness off and didnt seem like their was any issues and the altenator is working properly charing the batery..but could the altenator be bad? any info on this or has this happen to anyone? need some seirous help..thanks

 

Sounds like a bad alternator cable. Measure its end-to-end resistance.
