i don't know if that is possible. you'd need a vtec ecu for an automatic and the only vtec cars that come with autos are the accord and civic. and those are both soch d and f series motors. If it can be done you'd need some sort of a ecu kit to make it work but as far as i know you can't

sorry forgot about the lude

Yes it'll bolt up perfectly but there will not be set shift points in the ecu hence it won't shift or if it does it'll be like redline everytime. most honda's are available in a 5psd so its easy to go from auto to 5spd but b/c not all honda's do come in autos its harder to go from 5spd to auto.. your best bet would be to go with a h22a auto imo unless there is way to make it work with a b series but there are none that i know of

they had automatic gs-r's in japan... so if you get a b-series with vtec, and any b-series auto tranny, you could probly find an automatic obd1 p72 ecu to run it all with from japan.

I have an automatic LS tranny in great shape for your friend. IM me if your interested. Its in very good condition, and finding an engine is a lot easier then engine and tranny. Give me a reasonable offer, and its your friends!
