My del sol will not go into gear :(
I have a 93 del so with a h22 tranny, the car turns on (i have a switch that bypasses the clutch) but when i try to put it into gear it just wont go in. It has a brand new clutch in it so idk what it is. if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated
This^. If it goes into gear fine when the engine is off, then check the fluid level in the clutch reservoir and bleed the system of air. Also properly adjust the clutch pedal height. If that doesn't help, the master or slave cylinder may be bad.
yes it goes into gear when its turned off, and i have bled the clutch already the slave does push the fork but not much maybe only half an inch? and how is it that you adjust the clutch pedal. as for the type of clutch its an act stage 2 clutch.
so has the car ever moved since you did this swap? I have seen 2 cars with same problem and it was a broken spring in the clutch disk. im not sure how far the slave cyl should travel the fork on the tranny but i would check the travel you mentioned with normal specs.
yea it has ran for about a year now and like a couple of weeks ago it stopped so i bought the clutch thinking it was that, but yesterday i accidentally turned it on in gear (reverse) and it moved in reverse.

Make sure the clutch is completely bled. On a new master or slave cylinder, it can be a pain sometimes. When I and a friend had done the S2K master cylinder conversion, we installed new flex lines and slave cylinders too. It took both of us a little time getting them bled.
To adjust the pedal, look under the dash at where the rod for the master cylinder attaches to the pedal. There will be a pin connecting the two (Make sure that's in). Notice how the U shaped bracket on the clutch master cylinder attaches to the rod going to the master cylinder. It screws on. You need to loosen the nut behind the bracket and turn the rod. Also make sure the pedal returns to the full upright position so that you get the full action on the pedal.
Are you using the H22 slave cylinder?
