Brake pedal install issue, need help!!
Doing the brake pedal swap from auto to manual on a cd5.
I have run into issues with the master cylinder plunger not reaching the mount hole on the manual brake arm.
I have adjusted the clevis as far out as possible and still having clearance issues.
I could really use some help here.
Can I adjust the master cylinder plunger out far enough too reach?
Why is it so far off to begin with?
Ideas please!!

It was at the end of adjustment range, it would have fallen off the plunger.
I'm an idiot...
In an excited frenzy to get parts i got the wrong bracket and pedal.
That pedal is from an 89 or something accord.
It has worked out great though, he wasn't aware it was the wrong part either (the seller).
I will post pics of the parts side by side to illustrate soon.
I ended up being able to find the entire manual accel and brake pedal assm at a local salvage yard and bolted it right in.
This was incredibly simple and in doing so I no longer have to make a tab for the brake switch to contact because everything is on the correct side already.
Again I'll post pics later but for now I have a clutch bracket and pedal to work on!!!

Thanks Nus,
Ive gotta say it again anyone doing the auto to manual conversion should consider swapping their entire accelerator-brake pedal bracket and skip the issues with having to weld a tab for the brake switch.
It made everything so simple.
So everyone can avoid the incorrect pedal and bracket that I started with, here are pics of the "wrong" one, versus the "correct" one.
The wrong pedal assm is on the left in the first picture.
In the second is the manual pedal assm out of a 1997 5 speed accord.
As you can see there was no reason to weld anything as the brake switch is
already located on the correct side.
From there on it was all gravy!!
