Brake options for DX hatch ?
I should be picking up my hatch tonite... I'm sadly leaving the teggie to rest.
The hatch is a 92 DX and I will be concerned w/ upgraded braking in the future. My question is 1) Are the front brakes (rotor/caliper) the same on all model vics or does the EX have better ones (like the Si/tegs) 2) What's the best upgrade for the rear drums... Si rears ? Integra's ?
I should be making about 180ish in the future, so I want some decent stoppers, but am new to the civic family.
Is there a preferred brake setup (stock parts) on these models or what ?
X2

5th gen EX/Si Civic brakes, the EX with ABS I believe had rear disk's and the Si's have rear disk brakes too. Or a GSR brake upgrade would be nice. Check out a junk yard u can get a good deal from there.

Any idea on the cost of the assemblies ? Is it hard to swap drums for discs ? I've never done it before...
I am concerned with the braking performance w/ drums as I've never owned a FWD car with rear drums...
