1992 Honda Accord
Hello everyone I'm new here but have been reading your post for a while. So I'll hurry to make my point. Just bought a 92' accord 4door lx or dx not sure. With a battery in it I get nothing but the 4ways and horn to work. Does anyone have any advice where I should start with this car? Any advice will be considered.
Ok I rented a tow dolly and after reading on the forum, learned how to use the key to get the car out of gear so I can muscle the car onto the dolly. So I'll drag it home and get it in the driveway and began my journey of trying to get this car running. Today I'm buying a new battery and the main relay for the car. I'll keep you posted on the results of my test.
Hello Folks, In responds to Poorman, thank you for your reply. I did start with the fuses under the hood. I even have some the with a test light have power to them. But the car still doesn't start. Anymore advice?

So i bought a 92 accord also and had the same problem and it was the fuse under the hood labeled "battery". It took three times of looking at it and hours of troubleshooting before i found it though haha
Hi L Dogg, I think the most probable fault could be first the battery, starter motor and then the distributor, in that order.if the battery and stater motor good then the engine should crank (turning).
if the engine dosn't start by cranking, then the culprit could be the main relay or the distributor, in that order. First i would check the main relay, remove it from under the dashboard drivers side, then prize open, if you find any hair line crack in the pcb solder,
just resolder it, it should work fine.
Good luck.

Ok everyone it was the battery fuse under the hood. The part was two dollars and some change. Although I had already paid sixty dollars for a main breaker for under the dash. So now I'm changing the front brakes and rotors. And getting ready to enjoy the world of Honda. I presently drive a 2001 Chevy Silverado 2500HD with a 8.1 liter 496 cu motor. So you know I'm ready for my Honda. 100.00 a week from gas. UGH!!! Thank you all so much for the replies. L-Dogg
