If I'm not running a heater core can i just plug the outlet on the head, and also the back water pipe?

Back in the day when i DD the car I just looped the heater hose outlet inlet together on the motor....it worked but not trying to do that this time.

Also, is this battery location cool? as within rules? figured it was a nice spot and it fit well in that location, and I've seen them bolted on the firewall before figured this would be no different.

i just have the 2 hoses and a gutted Tstat. Battery stuff is never an issue unless its relocated to inside the car where you need a box. As long as its secure...your good.

 

any pics of how u block off the port on the head

 

Just plug it with a rocker hex plug.

 

We welded mine shut.

 

can u just plug the intake manifold outlet or will it leak coolant
