Default b16 head build for lsv-t

I just picked up a b16a2 head from a 00 civic si clean low miles I have a built block b18b I'm trying to make 350whp I just don't know what type of headwork to do. Running a t3/t4 Turbo I don't want any problems at all. Any input would be great I've searched but couldn't really find a set up. Thanks!

You can't convert a vtec head to vtec lol I mean as far as porting, valve springs, retainers. I want complete piece of mind at 8500rpm!

No my friend, he means LS/VTEC conversion... you know, the hybrid engine you're attempting to create here? C'mon now, wake up and smell the snow flakes...I know its late in Snowy Minnesota, but you can't be that naive, right? ;-)..

if you're only shooting for 350hp, stock ports/valvetrain will be fine @ 8500. but since the bottom end is built, wouldn't hurt to upgrade the valvetrain to rev higher.

@ shodan lol no I'm not! Just asking for some advice I haven't built a dohc head before what are some good after market springs retainers? Isn't the itr valve train a bit better? I can score a set of that for $150 is this a good price? Thanks guys

If all you want is piece of mind at 8500rpm, slap that b16 head on and call it a day...... B16 heads can see 8500 in stock form.....

The stock cams wont be making power that high, but it will rev there.

350whp on built block. why not push more boost, run some gsr or itr cams, dual valve springs and some titanium retainers?
as said above, if your only going for 350whp...keep it stock

Was thinking about running some gsr cams what are some reputable companies for springs / retainers? I've heard skunk 2s failing I guess I might as well build it for a bit more HP but it's going to be a street car! Keep the advice coming thanks guys

Keep it stock.. I made 385 whp on 16psi with a t3/t4 60 trim. Stock block except cp 9:1 compression pistons w/ eagle rods and arp bolts, stock b16 head with gsr cams and stock intake mani. Reving to 8k.

What size injectors? More info your setup sounds like what I'm after! Thanks for posting man. I do have a good deal on an itr valvetrain is it even an upgrade though?
