ok so i was wondering if you guys could help me here ive done research and tried about everything. I swapped a d16y7 from 98 civic to a 99 civic after ive done the swap it started to have hunting idle only when it was warm so I check the codes and found nothing so took out IACV cleaned it then when I placed it back on.. it made it worse hunting idle all the time so i tried a another used IACV.. nothing, checked vacuum lines, bleed coolant, check fuses.. starting to **** me off..

Does the CEL work?

Did you do a full D16Y7 engine swap or only the block?

Sounds like you forgot to connect one of the vacuum hoses.

 

cel does work because the code 65 is there but has always been there since I replaced the header with no catalytic converter... I did a full swap.. idk I checked vacuum lines but I can probably check again and where would be the idle screw?
