Antiseize?

Default Antiseize?

CRX D15. Should i use antiseize when bolting up the exhaust and intake manifolds? Any other places i need this or locktite while assemling the topend of my D15? The book doesnt mention these things. Thanks.

Yes you can use it, just dont glob it on.Just put on lightly on the threads. Loctite - use it on the set screw of the rotor in the distributor.

lol yes use them. lol ive snapped off old rusty studs off exhausts before and it sucks.

Anti-sieze usually doesn't work with high temp applications like that but it can't hurt.

It does to work with high temperature applications. Know your facts before you assume... Standard silver is rated to 1,600* - copper is 1,800* - and you can get stuff up to around 2,400* or so... Obviously you guys don't use it that often...

use it on your spark plugs , bolts everything important cause one of my spark plugs broke just cause didn't spent 2 bucks to buy the anti seize and i had to pull the whole head out and take it out and spent over 80 bucks , so it will do you good in the long run bro
